Pentabus is dedicated to the development of new theatre writing. From our base in Shropshire productions tour to theatres and arts centres across the country.

The last few years have seen the company go from strength to strength, collaborating with the National Theatre Studio, winning a prestigious Peggy Ramsay Award and bagging a Fringe First at the Edinburgh Festival. Our most recent tour, an adaptation of the novel Precious Bane by Bryony Lavery, toured a cast of 8 to 4 heritage site across the country, recruiting over 80 singers in each area to take part in the performances.
